Overview

Junior Sous Chef Cambridge Cambridgeshire 35K + Bonus. Junior Sous Chef required for a fast paced, University kitchen. Working in the main kitchen, you will be part of a team, cooking everything from scratch, producing a daily changing, 3‑choice menu, alongside a range of lighter meals.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a friendly team, liaising with the Head Chef and other Sous Chefs.
• Supervise Chef de Parties and ensure that daily prep is completed on time and to the correct standards.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience of cooking with fresh ingredients, ideally with previous experience of working in Hotels, Restaurants, Colleges, Universities, or higher end Contract Caterers.
• Must live in the Cambridge, Duxford or Newmarket area.
• Legally able to work in the UK.

Location & Schedule

• Located 10-15 minutes from the train station.
• Working straight shifts with a mixture of early or midday starts and every other weekend off.
