Junior Shift Engineer – Continental Shift – Commercial Building – Kings Cross, London – £32,000 Per annum

Key Details
  • Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer based in a commercial building in Kings Cross, London
  • Electrically or mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ)
  • Competitive salary with further training and career progression
Responsibilities
  • Lighting (small installation, fault-finding, lamping, etc.)
  • Emergency lighting tests & fire alarm tests
  • Plant room maintenance
  • Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Control Panels
  • Changing ballasts
  • BMS system monitoring (e.g., hot & cold conditions)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E / Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update log books
  • Plumbing – unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or mechanically City & Guilds Level 2
  • Hard-working attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Provide copies of trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Client facing

Continental Shift – 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days – 07:00 – 19:00 and 19:00 – 07:00
