Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team with a primary focus on bid writing and quoting. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their project management skills within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent time management abilities, with a proven track record of bid writing and a good understanding of the tendering process.

Duties
  • Bid writing, quoting and client engagement.
  • Sales tracking, pipeline management, quote chasing
  • Margin expectations and profitable performance
  • Assist in the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and return quotes to clients, based on requests for quote/tender
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and clients to ensure all parties are informed of project developments.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, proposing solutions as necessary.
  • Utilise Civil 3D software for design and planning tasks as required.
  • MS Project (preferable)
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience
  • Proven experience in project management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
