A premier property company in Swindon seeks a Junior Project Manager to oversee finishing and build projects. The role involves planning, coordinating contractors, and managing a variety of tasks from site set-up to handover. Ideal candidates will communicate effectively, possess SMSTS and First Aid qualifications, or be willing to attain them. An engaging personality and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential. Benefits include generous holiday allowances, training workshops, and wellness initiatives.
NSD (Neptune Store Developments) Ltd is our in‑house property and construction company. Although it is a separate company, it is integrally part of Neptune. It takes often unusual, sometimes even derelict properties and turns them into the architecturally beautiful Neptune stores across the UK. It has also built luxury private apartments and homes, all in line with the exacting standards and high‑quality materials our customers have come to expect.
At Neptune we believe the spaces we create should feel like home. Thoughtful, timeless and made with care. Behind every beautiful store and apartment is a team of people who value craft and collaboration.
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to work closely with our design and build team. You will be responsible for planning and overseeing finishing, fit‑out and build projects across our stores, guiding our tradespeople and construction team from site set‑up through to final snagging. You will work closely with the Head of Build & Maintenance and liaise with trusted contractors and internal teams to ensure every project is delivered safely, on time and to Neptune’s exacting standards.
You will be someone with a warm, friendly and engaging personality who can communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels. Ideally you will have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications, or a willingness to work towards them, and a strong understanding of what it means to represent a premium brand with care and attention.
You will be adaptable in a fast‑moving environment, embracing new challenges and responsibilities with a positive mindset, while always seeking ways to improve both yourself and the spaces you work in. Supporting your colleagues and sharing best practice comes naturally to you, helping ensure every project reflects Neptune’s values and commitment to homes with heart.
We are a growing business that encourages our people to grow with us. Neptune’s goal is to ensure we have a diverse and inclusive work environment, where all of our employees have equal access to opportunities and everyone’s voices are heard.
Founded in 1996 by John Sims‑Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune designs and makes pieces for the whole home. Recognised for its exacting standards, design‑led aesthetic and expert craftsmanship, Neptune is perhaps most known for kitchens – with heirloom‑worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune’s trademark “look” is British: refined, simple, sturdy and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. It is respected for its commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, Neptune makes things they’re proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
