Job description

As Junior Predictive Analysis Engineer you will clearly interpret our medical device requirements and develop innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Finite element modelling and analysis in the structural domain responding to linear and non-linear problems.
  • Performing modelling of mechanisms for kinematics, dynamics and force analysis, involving FEA & CFD for new product designs and modifications to meet customer requirements.
  • Supporting strategic planning and deployment of additional CAE modelling processes to aid planning and ultimately accelerate product development process.
  • Interpreting analysis results and convert them to design suggestions.
  • Developing techniques to optimise weight, from a design and manufacturing perspective, whilst managing dynamic loading/stress concentration.
  • Developing other digital twin capabilities, in line with product development strategies, easing iterative design cycle times and improving design/test data corelations.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Degree
  • Experience of Finite Analysis software ANSYS software
  • A neutral self-starter, proactive and able manage your own time highly effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, comfortable operating in a fast-paced matrix organisation.
  • Hard working, open and honest and excellent team working skills.
  • 1-2 years' experience in similar role (or work placement)
