The Role

As a Junior Planner, you will support the project delivery team in preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to budget. This role offers excellent exposure to earthworks and infrastructure projects and the opportunity to grow your career under the guidance of experienced Planners and Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project programmes for earthworks and infrastructure projects.
  • Track progress against plans and help highlight potential delays or risks.
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to support project delivery.
  • Update project documentation and assist in reporting to senior staff.
  • Support resource planning and coordination on site.
  • Learn and apply project management and planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
About You
  • Some experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects (site experience advantageous).
  • Interest in developing a career in project planning and scheduling.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Civils or earthworks exposure preferred, but a keen interest in infrastructure planning is essential.
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Mentoring and training to develop your planning skills.
  • Exposure to varied earthworks and infrastructure projects across Kent.
  • Opportunity for career progression within a growing, forward‑thinking business
