Required Attributes

• Apprenticeship / Degree qualified in Mechanical Design Engineering or similar
• A sound understanding of Engineering disciplines and principals
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• A strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
• Hands‑on technical experience through your course
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
• Organised with excellent communication and customer service skills

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting / overseeing the Projects and Service team
• Dealing with customers on a technical level
• Working to budgets and project timings
• Designing components for manufacture and installation
• Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
• Being involved in different manufacturing processes
• Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
• Keeping track of company documentation equipment and necessary upgrades
