Job summary

A leading marketing firm is seeking a Junior Marketing Specialist for a 6-month contract based in Cannock with the expectation of in-office work once every 1-2 weeks. The role involves coordinating marketing activities to enhance customer acquisition and retention while managing multiple campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of B2B marketing experience with a strong grasp of SEO, PPC, and social media management. They will also be expected to produce marketing collateral and report on campaign performance.

Role: Junior Marketing Specialist

Location: Cannock (expected in office once every 1-2 weeks)

Contract Length: 6-month contract with potential extension

Purpose: Deliver Client's marketing plan for Europe. Coordinate online and offline marketing activities to support customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise website content and performance.
  • Create and distribute content for PR, social media, email, and campaigns.
  • Deliver SEO and PPC campaigns with external agencies.
  • Plan and execute social media engagement.
  • Project manage multi-channel marketing campaigns and events.
  • Produce marketing collateral and support CRM data segmentation and reporting.
  • Liaise with Group Marketing on internal communications and global digital initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • At least 3 years in B2B marketing.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise (SEO, PPC, social media, web management).
  • Experience managing campaigns, agencies, and CRM systems.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, and marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, Hubspot).
  • Copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Project management and organisational ability.
Desirable
  • Marketing/business degree or CIM qualification.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience.
