Junior Health and Safety Advisor

  • Salary: £26-30K based on experience

Join a well-established and successful family-run Civil Construction Company with over 50 years in the industry. We are experiencing rapid expansion and are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Health & Safety Advisor to enhance our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the implementation and management of the company's Integrated Management System.
  • Work across several projects and departments to uphold the standards of the Safety, Quality, and Environment Management systems.
  • Assist site teams and managers by identifying hazards, minimising risks, and continuously improving health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide consistent and accurate HSEQ advice to employees across various levels.
  • Engage in HSEQ initiatives and support business units with related issues and problems.
  • Compile and analyse HSEQ statistics monthly, identify trends, and initiate proactive measures to enhance workplace safety and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
