Junior Frontend Developer

Join us as a Junior Frontend Developer at Dedalus , one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, on our dynamic and innovative Digital Solutions Team in Leeds to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As a Junior Frontend Developer you will contribute to the development of healthcare software products for clients across the UK and International markets.

You will have end-to-end involvement throughout the software lifecycle and experience software development from concept to deployment at enterprise scale.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will :
  • Support the development of the Dedalus OneX application suite.
  • Develop new features of the OneX application suite, complying to the standards expected within the team.
  • Test any new developments and endeavor for error free, re-usable code.
  • Clearly document new functionality and support the test team with any questions.
  • Develop and maintain OneX knowledge, covering key system concepts, principles and terminology.
  • Interact and present to clients if required by the project.

Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrate experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Front-end libraries / frameworks.
  • Software Development experience or demonstrate to have comparable experience.
  • Self-motivated team player and eager to continually develop themselves.
  • Problem solving skills and a tenacity to always find a solution.
Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare industry.
  • Agile project experience.
  • SQL / MongoDB.
  • TDD and Unit Testing (Jest / Cypress).
  • Awareness of AWS services
  • Awareness / experience in React / Next.js / Vite.js / Typescript / KJest / Node / Express
