Salary: £28,000 to £37,500 DOE
Location: Derby, minimum of 3-4 days in the office per week
A well-established railway electrical services provider is looking to appoint a Junior Electrical Design Engineer / CAD Technician to join its growing in-house design team based in Derby.
This role has been deliberately designed to suit two profiles: a Junior Engineer at the early stages of their career, or an experienced CAD Technician who wants to specialise in rail and develop their technical knowledge. You will work closely with senior engineers on live rail projects, contributing to the delivery of LV electrical and communications designs for stations and trackside environments, while receiving hands‑on mentorship and structured development.
