A regional healthcare provider in South Wales is seeking a Consultant to join their surgical team, providing support for acute services and participating in the on-call rota. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient and theatre sessions, as well as the capabilities for ward rounds and assessments. This post will join the team of consultants responsible for the provision of acute services to the University Health Board in Cwm Taf Morgannwg. The post will be part of the surgical team and provide support to the Combined General on-call rota for emergency work at night. The post will be required to support the delivery of outpatient, inpatient and emergency services for the local population and in doing so foster excellent working relationships within and outside the specialist area, including medical, nursing, secretarial and support staff, General Practitioners and Management Teams. The post will be expected to take part in the 1:14 on call rota based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. This may be subject to change.
