Holt Engineering is recruiting for a Junior Buyer to join a growing and highly respected organisation within the engineering sector to join their Purchasing & Supply Chain team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational ability and a proactive mindset to develop their career in procurement.

About the Role

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth sourcing, procurement, and delivery of materials and services required across the business. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, supporting daily operations as well as taking ownership of key projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

  • Daily sourcing and procurement of materials and spare parts
  • Managing low stock, open quotes, and shortage reports
  • Working closely with Account Managers to meet delivery deadlines
  • Building strong supplier relationships
  • Monitoring performance and resolving quality/delivery issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement across processes and systems
