Joiner required to work with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive based in Portadown.

The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am until 4pm with an hourly pay rate of £13.91. Initially this position will be on a temporary basis with possibility of extension based on job performance.

The successful candidate will be working with the Housing Executive travelling to properties and carrying out any essential joinery work. The main tasks will include operating various machinery and tools whilst repairing maintenance faults, installing new fixtures and fittings whilst interpreting architectural drawings, adhering to health and safety regulations, communicating with other trades personnel and providing a professional and responsive service.

What We Need From You

  • Successfully completed a Joinery apprenticeship
  • Minimum 1 year's relevant experience in a Joinery environment
  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence
  • Willing to undergo an Access NI police check
