A leading UK university is seeking an Assistant Professor in Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences. The role involves designing modules, assessing Trainee Clinical Psychologists, and providing pastoral support. Candidates must be qualified Clinical Psychologists with post-qualification experience and registration with relevant bodies. This part-time post offers an opportunity to develop research in a supportive environment.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Professor in the Academic Unit, Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences within the established programme team of the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This post is an Academic Tutor role, based at the University of Nottingham.
The programme is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our intake is 32 trainees per year and the programme is approved by the HCPC and accredited by the BPS.
This post is offered on a part time (14.5 hours per week), fixed term contract for 36 months.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
