Java Full Stack Developer / Engineer

📍 Birmingham Based

💰 £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

A well established technology firm is looking for a full stack developer / engineer to join their team to take ownership and direction of massive software development projects directly impacting millions of customers. If you have a strong passion for software development and a keen interest to develop your Java skills further, this is the perfect opportunity. You will play a pivotal role within the organisation, taking control of systems from the first line of code to design and maintain the entire application stack.

Responsibilities

• Backend: Write the main server code using Java and Spring Boot to handle the application's core logic and communication.
• Frontend: Build responsive customer-facing screens and features using modern tools like React JS.
• Data & Hosting: Manage the application's storage (e.g., MySQL and MongoDB) and help deploy the final application in the AWS cloud.
• Quality Check: Write automated tests to ensure the software works perfectly and has no bugs.

Essential Skills

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Java, React JS, HTML.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
