A Japanese IT company is recruiting a Japanese speaking Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer for the London office.

You will participate in IT infrastructure projects of various sizes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leveraging your experience in large-scale enterprise environments and advanced technical skills to plan, execute, and oversee projects. This opportunity includes working across 40 EMEA sites, either remotely or on-site as required.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure projects, including AWS environments
• Oversee small to large-scale projects from initiation to completion
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedules
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and stakeholders
• Prepare project plans, proposals, and secure necessary approvals
• Collaborate with vendors and resolve technical issues
• Create operational procedures, manuals, and internal documentation
• Travel to EMEA sites as required to ensure project consistency

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Ideal Candidate

Must‑have

• 3–5 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud projects (including on‑premises to cloud migrations and cloud‑native service design/implementation)
• Knowledge of Windows servers, networking, security, and Microsoft 365
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English

Preferred

• Experience with SD-WAN, Cisco wireless, Palo Alto Firewall
• Experience in multi‑site projects
• AWS certifications or other cloud‑related qualifications
