About the team

The IT Operations team is the backbone of our platforms and services. Our IT Operations team is responsible for ensuring day to day operations, supporting and securing our large scale and highly critical applications and availability of our platform and services.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment.

  • Manage daily IT operations, overseeing incidents, changes, and escalations.
  • Resolve issues escalated by the local and regional users both virtually and in person.
  • Oversees the IT operations for all of our regional offices, DA clinics and Specialist Center
  • Responsible for device and password management and administer and manage licenses for Atlassian tools, Microsoft Office, Aircall etc
  • Responsible for procuring and maintaining IT inventory, including Windows laptops, MacBooks, and various software tools.
  • Provide seamless support for new network equipment including WAPs, switches, routers, firewalls, ISPs etc.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for local and regional teams.
  • Handle IT projects, and ensure the timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Maintain comprehensive IT asset inventories and managing relationships with local IT vendors.
  • Support the setup and expansion of office/clinics IT infrastructure.
  • Manage data backup, and overseeing system operations such as user provisioning and authorization
  • Adept at handling installations, upgrades, and configurations of both hardware and software on laptops.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, security, and company guidelines during data handling.
  • Carrying out due diligence activities to comply with ISO standards
  • Conduct IT training sessions to enhance awareness of IT systems and assist new joiners in acclimating to their roles
  • Proactively develop task aids and knowledge-based resources to support user needs.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary facilitation and assistance when required.
  • Proactively engage with business stakeholders and ensure a collaborative approach to IT operations.
About you
  • Holds a Degree in IT, or other relevant fields
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT Support position in a medium to large scale environment.
  • Technical hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and MAC OS.
  • Knowledge of network technologies including routing and switching.
  • Experience in working with ticketing system, preferably Jira
  • Knowledge of Identity Access management, Bit Bucket, Google workspace, Slack, VPN, wifi internet access, networks, printers and scanners
  • Experience in working with a single sign-on system, OneLogin is preferred.
  • Ability to portray good incident handling
  • Able to provide support on an ad-hoc basis on weekends and travel offsite.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving and proactive attitude.
  • You have unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
  • Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Experience in working in the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
