IT Security Delivery Lead

About the role

The following role is a 6 month contract engagement INSIDE IR35. We are seeking a Security Delivery Lead to support a geographically diverse cybersecurity team within an enterprise manufacturing organisation. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on delivering security projects, providing internal advisory across business functions, and leading incident response efforts.

You will work closely with a senior security leader to strengthen the European region's capabilities. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is technically adept, and has broad experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver security initiatives across a varied technology landscape
  • Provide internal security advisory across business units, not limited to security‑specific projects
  • Manage incident response activities within the EU region, coordinating with global stakeholders
  • Support and mentor a distributed team across multiple time zones
  • Drive improvements in security technologies and operational processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape and mature the security function
Ideal Candidate
  • Based in the EU time zone with flexibility to collaborate globally
  • Broad experience as a security generalist across operations, governance, risk and compliance, and technical domains
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to lead and challenge effectively
