Our client based in Hull is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the team on an interim basis:

Role: Infrastructure Engineer

Day rate: 300 - 350 (ir35 yet to be determined, looking likely to be OUTSIDE IR35)

Location: Hull - 3 days a week onsite, 2 days work from home

Duration: 3- 6 months

Requirements:

• Strong technical expertise in Networking, Cloud & Hosting, Domain Services, Server OS, Storage, Virtualisation, Databases, Endpoint Protection, and Microsoft 365.
• Proficient in cloud-based mail archiving (Mimecast).
• In-depth knowledge of Backup & Recovery solutions for hybrid environments.
• Advanced understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure).
• Skilled in solutions including Exchange, SQL Server, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of vendor licensing models.
• Experienced in disaster recovery planning, simulation, and execution.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
