Job description
Overview

We are recruiting for a Band 5 IT Telephony Engineer role. This role will be based in Worthing, but will be covering various sites throughout the area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line Technical Support for all Trust IT users, keeping users and other IT staff informed of progress on calls raised with the Help Desk.
  • Maintain clear, high-quality records of actions undertaken in support of resolving user incidents.
  • Update the Help Desk application and inform other IT staff of actions taken.
  • Resolve software and hardware issues and configure new and existing mobile phones.
  • Support the Networks Team and assist with Trust projects as required.
  • Support day-to-day operations for Trust-wide area and local area services and support Unified communications platforms as part of the Connectivity / Telephony team within the Digital team.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience with Android and Apple mobile devices would be beneficial (full training provided).
  • Travel to various sites across the Trust; access to your own transport is essential.
  • Experience with cloud-provisioned services (Azure, M365, RingCentral) is desirable.
Team / Environment

The Connectivity / Telephony team is part of the Trust's Digital team and provides day-to-day operational support for Trust-wide and local area services, as well as support to Unified communications platforms.
