A prominent educational institution in Greater London is seeking a proactive IT Engineer to provide hands-on support for various IT systems. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include maintaining IT hardware and supporting staff and students with their technical needs. Join a forward-thinking team committed to delivering high-quality educational support.
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide hands‑on support to all users of the College’s IT systems, including Windows 10 desktops and laptops, Macs, VOIP telephony, managed printing services, and AV equipment. You will be responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining IT hardware, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across the College.
You’re a confident and approachable IT professional with a passion for helping others. With at least three years of hands‑on experience in a modern IT environment, you’re comfortable supporting a wide range of systems and devices. You’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a busy setting where no two days are the same. Whether you're solving technical issues or assisting non‑technical users, your excellent communication skills shine through—whether by phone, email, or in person. You enjoy being part of a team, are flexible in your approach, and take pride in delivering great service. If you're someone who can juggle multiple tasks, stay calm under pressure, and bring a positive attitude to everything you do, we’d love to hear from you!
