What will you be doing?
- Lead and inspire a team of technology specialists, supporting their growth and driving performance.
- Plan and deliver new capabilities, while continuously enhancing and maintaining our CLP solutions.
- Apply expertise in React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs to guide robust, scalable development.
- Work in an agile environment, taking a hands-on approach to improve CLP platforms for expanding business needs.
- Engage with Zurich stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing technical leadership for platform design and development.
- Oversee IT project delivery and ensure all requirements are met, including disaster recovery planning and service restoration.
- Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and addressing gaps.
- Champion compliance with IT governance, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
- Manage suppliers involved in the development and maintenance of CLP platforms.
- Develop technology roadmaps to maintain and upgrade hardware/software and reduce operational risks.
- Continuously improve agile practices within your team and across the wider Zurich community.
- Support audits and ensure operational readiness for projects and releases.
Qualifications and experience
- Ideally you will have significant experience in Application Design and Development.
- Hands-on experience managing programs/projects and providing ongoing operational support.
- Practical delivery experience with .NET technology and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs.
- Knowledge of Databricks, model serving, Mulesoft, and integrated platform delivery.
- People management and vendor management experience.
- Experience collaborating across countries and cultures, ideally within Zurich or the wider insurance/finance sector.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
