Senior Manager – Finance Systems (Finance, HR & Legal)

Our client is building something rare: a brand-new technology and finance backbone for a $2.5bn global organisation, supported by a leading private equity sponsor. Following a carve-out, we are establishing a greenfield ERP and Finance systems landscape that will become the foundation for our future growth.
This is not a “keep the lights on” role. It is a chance to design, implement, and own a new Finance systems environment from day one – with full visibility across Europe, North America and Latin America.
The Role
As Senior Manager – Finance Systems, you will:
- Lead the design and implementation of their new Finance ERP (SAP or Dynamics; Infor experience a bonus).
- Shape and guide the post-carve-out systems landscape, ensuring reporting, consolidation and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Work closely with Finance leadership, external partners and a systems integrator to deliver a robust, scalable Finance platform.
- Manage and grow a small team (3 directs) while ensuring effective use of external consultants.
- Act as the subject matter expert in Finance technology, bridging IT and the business.
What We’re Looking For
- ~10 years’ experience in Finance technology leadership within a large, complex organisation. (not too much more than this, it is not a high-level consultant role, and we require a Subject matter expert, hands-on)
- Subject matter expertise in ERP Finance (SAP preferred; Dynamics also considered).
- Strong grasp of finance processes (reporting, consolidation, AP/AR, close cycles, compliance).
- Experience leading small teams and managing external vendors/SIs.
- Broad international exposure and comfort working in a centralised, multi-country environment.
- Pragmatic, delivery-focused, and able to operate under pressure in a fast-paced carve-out environment.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior carve-out / transformation experience.
- Consumer goods or manufacturing industry background.
- Exposure to HRIS or LegalTech systems.
