A national training provider is seeking passionate individuals for an IT apprentice role in Marton CP. As an IT apprentice you will raise your technical skills through hands on experience and learning on the job while contributing to day-to-day IT support. Typical tasks include providing first line support for staff and students, help maintaining IT hardware and software and supporting system related tasks. This apprenticeship will give you the chance to help your knowledge grow and bloom as well as getting support from ourselves (Baltic Apprenticeships) where you will receive a 2 day training period every 4‑6 weeks, ensuring you are receiving all the support you need!

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Typical Day in the Job
  • Support delivery of a wide range of high-quality IT Services, with a particular focus upon your home site.
  • Work flexibly, responsibly, and with a strong customer focus.
  • Maintain and develop IT networks and systems, ensuring that they support effective teaching, learning, and administration.
  • Contribute to wider Trust developments, while working with external partners and colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Support implementation of the Trust IT strategy, executing associated project work.
  • Follow and promote procedures for the effective logging and resolution of ICT issues to ensure work can be prioritised.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ICT policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure that ICT services operate efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the Trust and its constituent schools.
  • Liaise with independent contractors to obtain quotes and oversee implementation of agreed project work.
  • Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Salary, Hours & Benefits

£14,722.50 per annum.

8am‑4pm Monday to Friday.

28 days holiday.
