Job Title: IT Applications Manager

Salary: Up to £80,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, functional consultants, and technical staff, conducting performance reviews, setting objectives, etc.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of implementation and upgrade projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and timelines
  • Ensure systems are suitable within our environment working with the Enterprise/Data and Solution architects
  • Liaise with product owners, business functions, and other IT teams to align development with business needs
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial

You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role.

Your skills and experiences:
  • Knowledge of key applications: Oracle ERP, Siemens Teamcenter Unified, MSBI, Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • Understanding of cyber security principles and compliance standards
  • Experience in application management, with demonstrable experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of delivering IT projects successfully
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with the Atlassian product suite – Jira, Confluence, JSM

The IT Development team:

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will lead a talented team of Oracle Functional Consultants, Oracle Developers and Microsoft Technology Developers. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing resources, scheduling work and ensuring successful project delivery, all while maintaining strict security compliance.
