Job description

Endeavour has an exciting career opportunity for an IS Support Administrator to join our client team, specialised in financial services, based in Wembley.

The ideal Support Administrator will have excellent communication and analytical skills, be a good team player as well as able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities:

  1. System Administration: Workstation/server OS, server builds, ADS administration, maintain successful backups, WSUS for servers/workstations.
  2. Incident, Problem, Change Management: Log & take ownership of incidents, problems, and changes onto the Service Desk for commercial and production-related issues.
  3. Technical Support: 1st / 2nd Support.
  4. Asset Management.
  5. Implement local and global projects in a timely manner.
  6. Write, update, and maintain network schematics, work instructions, and procedures for the production and commercial network infrastructure.
  7. Manage and maintain the order management process and keep all related documents filed and organized.
  8. Perform other reasonable duties as needed by the department.
  9. EHS.

Skills and experience required:

  1. Over 1 year of commercial experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (XP, Windows 7, Windows 8), 2010/2012, Anti-Virus Software, MS Office 2003 – 2010, Remote Access Tools, VPN.
  3. Experience with SharePoint, Windows OS 2003/2008 R2/2012, SAP, Citrix, XEN Server, VMWare, Symantec Backup Exec.
  4. Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Groups).
  5. Ability to write, update, and maintain network schematics, work instructions, and procedures for the network infrastructure.
  6. Manage and maintain the order management process and keep all related documents organized.
  7. Perform other duties as required by the department.
  8. EHS.
