The iPhone PR Manager, UK & Europe is part of the European PR team, responsible for media relations and coverage in the UK and leading across all European markets, in collaboration with local teams. They are Europe’s creative leader and guardian of one of the world’s most influential products, amongst an Apple ecosystem of hardware, software and services.They will work directly with country product PR managers to create high-impact features, editorial and organic social coverage in their respective countries. Additionally, they will conduct and develop high-level relationships with editors, EICs, influencers, and content creators across the UK.This role requires creative inspiration and strategic leadership to all countries. They will work closely with their counterparts in WWPR and other Geos to secure access and information for country-specific stories and opportunities. They will co-ordinate all product launches in Europe and work directly with WWPR on specific momentum programmes. They will work with other product, services or values PRs to shape Apple stories that incorporate iPhone.Building strong relationships with the European PR team, country PR Managers, European Product Marketing team, and WW iPhone and iOS PR teams is crucial for this role.This role requires a creatively ambitious operator, excellent network skills, and the ability to influence at all levels within the organisation.
The iPhone PR Manager, UK & Europe will be tasked with:Generating ideas and campaigns that create global impact from Europe.Developing and pitching major media features and news with UK media.Partnering with teams to manage global or pan-European media outlets.Devising ideas and strategies to build social-first campaigns.Co-ordinating product launches with European countries.Collaborating with all members of European PR team on story and campaign development.Surfacing ideas from individual countries or other geos.Providing leadership and strategic guidance to all country PR product leads.Facilitating information and access to enable local country opportunities.Issues management in partnership with corporate team.Product intelligence (including competitors).Travel within Europe and the USAPlanning and coordinating configuration of press seed unitsProblem solving in highly confidential and ambitious situations.
