The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate for our Private Capital team in London. You will evaluate and support direct private‑equity investments across Europe, handling new deals and existing portfolio companies.

Who you’ll work with

Deal teams consist of a Principal and Director, with Associates supporting with deal evaluation, diligence and post‑investment work.

What you’ll do
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities and assess attractiveness.
  • Conduct industry and company research, manage third‑party advisors and build sophisticated financial models.
  • Review and analyze due‑diligence materials and prepare internal support materials and written recommendations for the Investment Committee.
  • Participate in post‑deal management, attending board meetings as an observer and supporting management on value‑creation initiatives such as M&A, debt refinancing and budgeting.
  • Generate proprietary deal flow, attend conferences, and work with bankers and consultants.
What you’ll need
  • An undergraduate degree.
  • 2‑3 years of related experience in private equity, investment banking or consulting.
  • Very strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Robust analytical, quantitative and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Deep understanding of fundamental investment analysis and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Self‑motivated with ability to meet tight timelines in a complex environment.
  • Unquestionable personal and professional integrity.
  • Fluency in English required; other Western European languages an asset.
  • Availability and willingness to travel.
