Adult MASH Investigating Manager

Overview

Our dedicated MASH Team offers crucial support to individuals who are at risk of or have experienced harm and have care and support needs. The team works closely with a variety of services and virtual partner agencies, including Children's Services, Police, various health colleagues, CQC, Advocacy and a range of voluntary and provider services.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of Section 42 enquiries concerning adults at risk, including setting actions and agreeing on minutes.
  • Maintain oversight of investigations from start to finish.
  • Monitor the safeguarding process to ensure it is adequately completed and outcomes are actioned appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience in a social care setting.
  • Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Substantial experience of case work with adults in a community health setting.
  • Experience leading safeguarding investigations and expert knowledge of social care legislation and policies relating to the safeguarding of adults at risk.
