About The Business

Leaders Online (LOL) are a privately owned business with ambitious growth plans and an aim to be the provider of choice, known for product quality and range. We are a multi brand, eComm Retailer within the UK with floors, doors and bathroom product range. Currently revenue is consumer and trade led, we operate multiple warehouses, delivered via our own fleet VIP Delivered with depots across the UK.

About The Role

This is a new role in a growing company with strong ambition. We are looking for a detail‑driven Inventory and Quality Control (QC) Controller to oversee stock accuracy and product quality across our multi‑site warehousing and depot operations. Handling bulky goods for both consumer and trade customers, this role is central to ensuring stock integrity, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction. There is a great opportunity to make a difference and identify where we can improve and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Manage inventory control processes across multiple warehouses and depots throughout the UK
  • Build a framework to ensure cyclical counting and ongoing daily house keeping to maintain stock integrity
  • Identify trends and conduct root cause analysis to maintain accuracy and drive operational efficiency
  • Monitor stock levels, accuracy, and reconciliation to reduce discrepancies and losses
  • Monitor, report and bring visibility to stock trends and adjustments to enable investigation, root cause and correction
  • Identify long term solutions to reduce discrepancy, adjustment and write off
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure QC checks at source
  • Develop, implement and maintain a quality control framework and SOP creation and compliance for inbound and outbound goods
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reporting to ensure quality standards are met
  • Work closely with warehouse and depot managers, and customer service teams to resolve issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through identification and prioritisation of initiatives in inventory management, product handling and packaging
  • Develop metrics that enable visibility and understanding of status and trends for input and actions
  • Provide clear reporting and analysis to senior management on stock and quality performance
About You
  • Proven experience in inventory management and quality control within multi‑site organisations
  • Experience in PeopleVox (PVX) highly desirable, but experienced Inventory Controllers will be considered
  • Data driven and able to take from multiple systems, collate and co‑ordinate into meaningful outputs and outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS, (preferably PVX) systems and inventory reporting tools
  • Understanding of compliance requirements for bulky goods and fleet operations
  • Supports cross functional working and see’s it as a core part of the role
  • Able to influence at all levels within the organisation
