Job summary

A leading design studio in Surrey is seeking a Mid-Weight or Senior Interior Designer to join their collaborative team. This role involves working on luxury residential projects from concept to completion, managing schedules, sourcing materials, and presenting designs to clients. Ideal candidates will have a recognized qualification in Interior Design and experience in the luxury market, along with strong technical skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Overview

Our client, an award-winning interior and architectural design studio in Surrey, are looking to welcome a Mid-Weight or Senior Interior Designer to their collaborative studio.

Responsibilities

Your role will involve working as part of a team on projects from concept to completion, responsible for producing schedules, sourcing and specifying products and materials, production of moodboards, presenting to clients and preparing detailed drawings, designs and plans. The projects you will work on are luxury residences in the UK and internationally.

Requirements
  • A recognised Interior Design/Interior Architecture qualification
  • Experience working on projects in the Luxury Residential market
  • FF&E background
  • Strong understanding of the full design process and on-site experience
  • Experience and confidence in running and delivering projects from initial design concept to handover, and everything in between
  • Confident in a client-facing role, capable of leading presentations, meetings and correspondence
  • Sourcing and procurement of FF&E with strong knowledge of suppliers
  • Technical drawings skills
  • A very good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp, with experience of EstiPCanadvantage
  • Hands sketching skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual)
  • Ability to instruct and mentor others
  • A strong eye for design and colour, with good 3D and spatial awareness and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional conceptual and presentation skills
  • Have a full, clean driving licence for site visits
