Are you a confident and experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a newly refurbished children’s home?

We’re looking for an interim Registered Manager to take charge of a residential home supporting looked-after children aged 8–18 with emotional and social needs. Your leadership will be key in guiding the home through Ofsted re-registration and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

Key Details
  • Location: Lindley, HD3
  • Contract: 3 months (potential extension)
  • Rate: £14/hour + 7% enhancement for flexibility
  • Start Date: From 10th November
  • Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
Your Role
  • Lead the home through Ofsted re-registration
  • Manage staff and ensure high standards of care
  • Oversee admissions and safe matching of young people
  • Maintain compliance with Children’s Home Regulations
  • Support young people with emotional regulation and complex needs
What You’ll Need
  • Willingness to be Ofsted registered
  • At least 2 years’ management experience in the last 5 years
  • Experience in mainstream or secure residential settings
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Strong safeguarding and therapeutic care knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS and barred list check
