Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for a subsidiary company of a local authority.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the management accounting function for the property maintenance service, partnering closely with operational teams to provide financial insight, support decision-making, and strengthen financial accountability.
  • Produce monthly management accounts with clear, meaningful analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, and monitor labour cost performance.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key balance sheet items, ensuring timely and compliant regulatory returns, including subcontractor payments.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting, acting as a finance systems specialist to enhance data quality and maximise business value.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with strong experience in Management Accounting and Business Partnering, ideally within Repairs in a Housing Association environment.
  • Solid understanding of assets and maintenance-related financials.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong systems expertise with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
