Qualifications

• Proven experience managing housing disrepair cases, ideally within a local authority.
• Strong understanding of the legal disrepair process and court expectations.
• Experience producing Part 35 compliant reports.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a pressured environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting residential properties subject to legal disrepair claims.
• Preparing clear, robust technical reports for use in legal proceedings.
• Supporting both pre-litigation and litigated cases.
• Advising on remedial works, costs, and realistic programmes.
• Working with legal services, housing teams, contractors, and external solicitors.
• Acting as an expert witness where required.
