James Andrews is proud to be working with a reputable Housing, Care & Support provider with homes across the Midlands, who are seeking to appoint a Head of Property on an interim basis for three months. You will be required to be on site, three days a week.

To lead and manage the organisations repairs and maintenance service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant delivery that prioritises resident safety, satisfaction, and organisational performance. The role will drive operational excellence, embed a performance-led culture, and maintain robust compliance with regulatory standards

The range of function which are covered include :

  • Develop and implement the Repairs and Maintenance strategy in line with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with the Groups priorities for in-house delivery of critical services (repair and maintenance, gas and electrical safety, damp and mould treatment, emergency access).
  • Drive cultural change to promote ownership, accountability, and transparency across operational teams.
  • Oversee responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and cyclical works, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Manage out-of-hours service provision and emergency response protocols.
