A reputable recruitment agency is seeking an Interim Head of Finance for a group of schools in London. This part-time role requires working 2 days per week in a hybrid capacity. The successful candidate will lead financial operations, ensure compliance, manage audits, and provide strategic guidance. Applicants should have extensive experience at senior finance levels, particularly within the education sector. This role starts immediately and lasts for 6 months, offering attractive day rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating at Head of Finance level or above.
• Strong background working within the education sector, ideally at MAT level.
• Able to commit to 2 days per week on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across all schools within the group.
• Produce and present financial management reports to Trustees, DfE/ESFA, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure full financial compliance and strong financial controls.
• Oversee statutory accounts and support audit processes.
• Provide expert guidance on audit, risk, and governance.
• Line manage, structure, and develop the finance team.

Panoramic Associates is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded group of schools based in London to appoint an Interim Head of Finance, starting immediately, for a 6 month assignment.

This is a senior interim opportunity for an experienced school finance professional to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites, ensuring robust financial management and compliance during a key period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across all schools within the group
