A recruitment agency is seeking an Interim FP&A Consultant for a Midlands-based engineering business. Interim FP&A Consultant

SF Recruitment are seeking an Interim FP&A Consultant to support a Midlands-based engineering and manufacturing business during a period of significant change. The company works with major global OEMs, across design, engineering and production. This is a pivotal time for the business as it goes through a strategic investment process.

Role details:

  • Start: ASAP

  • Length: 6 months with potential extensions

  • Rate: £400 £500 per day (Inside/Outside IR35)

  • Location: 4 days on-site (Midlands), 1 day from home

Key requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

  • Audit background desirable

  • Strong FP&A exposure across reporting, MI and commercial analysis

  • Consolidation and group reporting experience

  • Advanced Excel skills, able to work with and adapt existing financial models

  • Experience with Sage

  • Background in engineering, manufacturing or OEM supply chain environments

  • Energetic, hands-on style and able to work closely with senior leadership and external advisors

What you ll be doing:

  • Provide the SLT with robust reporting and financial insight during a period of change

  • Deliver consolidation and group reporting, ensuring accurate and timely MI

  • Navigate and adapt an existing financial model for forecasting and sensitivities

  • Prepare high-quality MI and reporting to support senior leadership and external stakeholders
