Job description

Morgan Hunt is pleased to be working with a Public Sector organisation, based in Manchester, to recruit an Interim Financial Reporting Manager on an initial 3-month contract with an opportunity to go permanent.

This will be a hybrid role of working 1-2 days a week in the office (or more depending on the successful candidates preferences). This will be a 35-hour week role with flexibility with regards to working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document processes for monthly cash flow and balance sheet reporting, using the TechOne Finance system, produce reports for Executive and Board meetings
• Develop and document processes for monthly capital spend reporting
• Working with the Director of Finance to provide accurate and meaningful financial reporting and support to budget holders.
• Support with year-end reporting as required.

Qualifications

In applying for this role, you will be a CCAB qualified accountant, with substantial experience of financial reporting, forecasting and balance sheets using a range of financial systems such as TechOne Accounting within the Public Sector. You will have advanced Excel skills including Power BI, pivot tables, data manipulation and charts. Please note that this role is inside IR35 and will be paid through an umbrella company.
