Job description

Our client, based in Woking, Surrey, is seeking to hire a Commercial FD / FP&A Controller to cover maternity leave for a 6-month period.

In this role, you will lead financial operations across EMEA, deliver critical financial insights and business intelligence to the Private Equity owners, manage commercial performance (KPIs, pricing strategy, margin analysis). Your responsibilities will include FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to support commercial decisions. You will also have experience in and enjoy process improvement.

This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in blue-chip, medium-sized, and smaller businesses who understands what “good” looks like in financial operations.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record in FP&A within a consumer-facing business. You must be available to start at short notice. The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with your skills and experience – day rate or FTC offered.

You should be comfortable working from the Woking (Surrey) office three days a week, managing staff remotely, and engaging with international stakeholders. Experience working in a small, growing start-up environment—within the context of a larger, PE-backed parent company—is also desirable.
