Overview

Commercial Finance Business Partner

SF Recruitment are seeking an interim Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a well-established financial services organisation. This role will give you exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on strategic and operational decision-making.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid: 2-3 days on site

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge to drive commercial performance and inform strategic priorities.
  • Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, ensuring financial objectives are aligned with divisional goals.
  • Deliver clear and insightful management reporting, translating complex financial data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Build and review financial models to support investment appraisals and assess project outcomes.
  • Act as a finance lead on working capital initiatives, including invoice discounting and factoring.
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure financial governance and compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong track record of partnering with senior leaders in a financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to interpret financial performance drivers and present findings in a clear, commercial manner.
  • High-level Excel capability; experience with TM1 & Power BI.
  • Resilient communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • This role requires travel to the North west 1-2 days per month; please do not apply if you are not willing to do so.
