Salary: £26,289 - £30,292 per year.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver practical training in Agricultural Engineering across a various programmes up to level 3. You will use your expert knowledge and skills to help our students achieve their ambitions and support new curriculum opportunities as we expand our provision.

Key responsibilities
  • Supervise the work of students undertaking practical activities.
  • Instruct students to develop the practical skills required by industry and support their practical confidence and ability.
  • Adhere to college health and safety procedures by supervising students undertaking practical activities, giving help, support and guidance.
  • Help maintain premises, equipment, consumables associated with the department.
  • Utilise learning resources and opportunities fully and effectively.
Qualifications
  • Experience of a similar role within the FE sector or industry.
  • Experience of storing and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant subject with experience in transmission types, farming machinery, engines, hydraulics, tractor technology, electrics, and fabrication skills.
  • Level 2 in Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
