Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is absolutely thrilled to be assisting one of Southeast London’s most highly respected, family‑run Safety Systems Installation companies in their search for a skilled technician to join their team. Granted, it’s a small company, but their quality is second to none! The role is offered on a full‑time, permanent basis. 08.30 to 17.30 – Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

As a Security Systems Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and servicing of a variety of security systems across the Greater London region. These include fire alarms, gate automation, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control for residential and commercial premises.

Your day‑to‑day duties will include :
  • Installation of fire alarm, gate automation, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control systems
  • Service and maintenance of existing systems
  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
  • Ensuring that projects run smoothly through servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Monitoring systems for irregular behaviour and setting up preventive measures
  • Ability to demonstrate systems to customers and conduct user training
  • Good attention to detail to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales
