Installation Site Supervisor (SMSTS REQUIRED) - Office Furniture Fit-Out Company (Basildon)

A well-established and rapidly growing office furniture fit-out company based in Basildon is seeking an Installation Site Supervisor (SMSTS REQUIRED) to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, expanding business, with excellent long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and overseeing installation teams on-site, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Carrying out office furniture installations alongside the team - leading by example.
• Coordinating tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Acting as the main point of contact on-site for both the client and the company.
• Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism throughout each project.

The Ideal Candidate:

• SMSTS - essential.
• Previous experience in installations or fitting (office furniture experience preferred but not essential).
• CSCS card - essential.
• Driving licence - desirable but not essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee a team while working hands-on.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Willingness to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for project demands.

Additional Information:

• Start time: 6:00am (from the warehouse).
• Pay: £15.00 per hour (paid from leaving the warehouse to returning).
• Hours: Guaranteed 10 hours per day.
• Days: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend overtime available.
• Most jobs are local or within a 2-hour radius of the depot.
• Permanent position with long-term stability and opportunities for growth.
