Job title: Insolvency Solicitor

Location: Southampton

Salary: £60,000-£80,000+ DOE

PQE Level: 4+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

An established national firm, highly ranked across leading legal directories, seeks an insolvency solicitor to join its Tier 1 practice. You will work alongside market‑recognised specialists on complex, high‑value mandates for prominent UK clients, receiving direct exposure to technically demanding matters and courtroom work.

What you will do

You will handle a wide spectrum of contentious and non‑contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, including restructuring plans, CVAs, contingency planning, voluntary liquidations and related corporate restructurings. You will advise directors and other stakeholders directly, draft and implement pragmatic solutions under pressure, manage competing deadlines and client expectations, and play a hands‑on role in litigation and creditor negotiations when required. Exceptional client service, judgement and commercial awareness will be central to success in this role.
