We are seeking an experienced Insights and Reporting Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-impact data insights across our business, as we invest in a Digital Transformation programme. This role will play a key part in transforming data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making at all levels. You will be responsible for the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, from data ingestion through to interactive dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this high-impact and high-visibility role will interact with stakeholders across the business at all levels including the Senior Leadership Team.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, which requires working in the office for 3 days and remotely for 2 days.

Requirements
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure Power BI reporting, building on our existing reporting portfolio and rearchitecting with new data sources
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data ingestion pipelines, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and reliability
  • Collaborate with business users to understand data needs, define KPIs, and translate business requirements into reporting
  • Proactively turn data into insight, identifying business growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with the Tech department to optimise data architecture and related costs
  • Provide training and support to business users to promote self-service reporting and data literacy
  • Monitor and maintain Power BI services, including gateway configurations, dataset refreshes, and performance optimisation
  • Develop documentation, data models, and data dictionaries to ensure clarity and consistency across reports
  • Coach and support the Analytics Business Partner's development, prioritising business demands and managing workload
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a data/insights/reporting management role, ideally in a mid to large-sized organisation
  • Advanced Power BI development skills, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling
  • Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with data ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and working with large datasets from multiple sources
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses or lakes
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively
  • Experience in stakeholder management and project delivery in an agile or fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset (ability to understand and interpret business drivers and causation) with attention to detail and data accuracy
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred) particularly with reporting or integrating its data into BI tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or other modern data integration tools
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices
