Key role within Insight, Analytics & Reporting team acting as supporting analyst to the Insight Partner focussing on the Enterprise, Land and Mobile (ELM) Business Unit. Forms close working relationships with BU leadership and understands in detail the business and associated data. Ensures day to day Insight, Analytics & Reporting related needs of the BU are properly addressed, dealing with both short term, urgent requests as well as working closely within the Insight Partner to develop and deliver on plans for new Insight, Analytics & Reporting related solutions.

The day-to-day
  • Work under the direction of the Insight Partner to build and deliver on opportunities to exploit Insight, Analytics & Reporting products, and services for the benefit of ELM. This content will be utilised by ELM to make effective decisions and create positive commercial outcomes.
  • Be the primary point of contact for ELM stakeholders for BAU queries and developments along with delivering strategic solutions under the guidance of the Insight Partner.
  • Work alongside Insight Partner to understand ELM Insight, Analytic and Reporting challenges, and opportunities, converting these into requirements in a form that can be delivered into the Insight, Analytics & Reporting prioritisation/delivery process.
  • Represent their workstack at the Insight, Analytics & Reporting prioritisation forum.
  • Perform role of Developer in Insight, Analytics & Reporting agile teams
  • Support development of Insight, Analytics & Reporting knowledge, skills and community across ELM.
What you'll need
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer, data science, or related field
  • Data/BI project scoping, design and delivery.
  • Enthusiast / evangelist for driving benefits from data solutions.
  • Relationship building and stakeholder collaboration / management – strong customer focus.
  • Business knowledge and experience of delivering data solutions for commercial gain.
  • Ability to deliver strong commercial insight and bottom line outcomes.
  • Delivery mindset backed up with experience, preferably including Agile delivery techniques.
  • BI delivery skills to support high priority, quick turn-around provision of BI when required.
