Inside Sales Representative (Supplies and Services)

Location: Manchester, GB

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

The Role

The Inside Sales Representative (Supplies and Services) role will be working in the Supply and Service team actively supporting the growth of our UK customers. You will work closely with Account Managers across the North of UK, with an element of proactive lead qualification for the machine sales team (70/30 existing and new business split). This is a commercial inside sales role requiring account management & sales qualification skills.

This role is based out of our Manchester office a minimum of 3 days per week at home 2 days a week.

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with customers for Aftermarketbusiness.
  • Proactive interactions from onboarding to installed base refresh.
  • Set appointments and visit customers when required.
  • Support customers with consumable forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for new business within assigned accounts and recover lost business/customers.
  • Contractual services and consumable aftermarket quoting/offering/renewing.
  • Proactive coordination with sales/technical departments.
  • Work towards KPI’s and achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Run reports and perform analysis to drive sales actions.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory, utilising various prospecting methods such as telephone calls, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Work closely with End user Sales team in a defined geographic area to progress lead opportunities.
  • Qualify sales leads generated from marketing campaigns and establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects on behalf of our Account Managers to unearth challenges and growth opportunities in both new and existing accounts.

What you need to have:

  • Good questioning and qualifying skills over the phone/video
  • Inside sales experience ideally in both pre sales and aftermarket sales is desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience working with Microsoft tools (Excel and PowerPoint) & Salesforce.com (or similar CRM)
  • Ability to manage your time and workload effectively as this is a hybrid role
  • SAP (SD Module) experience would be a plus but is not mandatory
  • Results driven, customer oriented and used to work under pressure
