Responsibilities

• Manage the patients clinical workload within ward areas and supervise junior medical staff.
• Support the education and training of junior medical staff.
• Record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively.
• Participate in service and business planning for adult services.
• Engage in annual appraisal for consultants.
• Attend and participate in the academic programme of the Trust.
• Participate in annual job plan review with the Chief Medical Officer.
• Collaborate with local managers to ensure efficient service running.
