A leading Fintech company in Manchester is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software delivery and regulatory projects. In this permanent, full-time role, you will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and planning. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment and excellent problem-solving skills. A background in financial services is beneficial but not essential. Competitive salary range of £55,000 – £70,000.

IT Project Manager, Manchester City Centre, 3 days a week in the office.

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge in delivering software development and implementation projects? We’re recruiting a permanent Project Manager to join a Manchester City Centre Fintech company, with offices conveniently located right next to Piccadilly train station.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of various projects, including end-to-end software delivery, change and regulatory projects.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Leading the delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion.
• Owning project planning, scoping, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Gathering requirements, mapping processes, and producing project documentation.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful delivery to customers.
• Managing budgets, forecasting resources, and tracking project performance.

What We’re Looking For :

• 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in software delivery and other IT projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• A proactive problem-solver who can adapt to shifting priorities.

Experience in the financial services would be a real bonus – but it’s not essential.

Location: Manchester

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000
